6 EFFECTIVE TIPS TO STAY HEALTHY WHILE TRAVELLING AROUND THE WORLD.

TO AVOID PUTTING DENT IN YOUR DIET AND STAYING HEALTHY WHILE TRAVELLING, HERE IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE

FROM MY RECENT TRIP TO ASIA. WHERE FOOD CHOICES AND ENVIROMENT IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM EUROPE AND USA, AND EVERYONE LOVES TO FEED YOU  AS PART OF ASIAN  CULTUTRAL HOSPITALITY

 1. WATER Recommended to drink plenty of water while travelling.

Be careful! there are many water borne illnesses that can make you sick. Drink only bottled water from a good company. Or Carry drinking water purifying chlorine tablets with you to put in water if nothing else is available.

2. FOOD ITEMS : Avoid consuming any outside food with liquid or dairy in it. Even fancy restaurants as they could have used contaminated water to cook. I bought my own powdered milk on the trip, which was helpful.

3. AVOID JUNKFOODAvoid fast food and street foods as much as possible. Grilled foods are better choices than fried to avoid gaining weight and getting sick. Eat small portions no matter what. To avoid stomach upset.

4. SNACKS : Pack snacks so you are not skipping meals and going for junk food– protein bars on the go, Boiled Eggs, Nuts, Carrots, Energy biscuits and Bottled water would be good. Browse local grocery store for local healthy choices.

5. CLEANING  : I always carry antiseptic wipes OR spray to use if I am in public places. Easy way to wash vegetables and fruit: ( 1 tsp apple cider vinegar in a bowl and wash your fruits and vegetables in it, before consuming.)

6. EXERCISE : No place for exercise, no worries, you can use hotel room for simple exercises- walking in a place and squats daily to keep your calories burning and staying fit. May use Tin cans as alternate to dumbbells.

It is very hard to travel with lot of stuff, so pack light and make sure to pack your fitness shoes and outfit at least.
